Holiday Survival
We have survived yet another holiday season...almost. We had a Christmas Gala, 3 Christmas parties, 3 birthday parties, a trip to Virginia, and of course Christmas day. Although busy, it has been a fun season. Now we get to head into the New Year and think about our resolutions. I thought about quitting smoking and drinking since are common ones, but since I don't smoke or drink already, I thought that might be considered cheating. I guess I will just look forward to a new job, new home and a fresh start in Tennessee.
The boys loved Christmas. They got several new toys, and of course spend most of their time playing with whatever the other one got. It was a lot of fun though. We definitely charish each holiday with them while they are young. Aaron was excited to get the airplanes from Santa that he asked him for and Luke is excited about all the food. Luke likes the toys, too, but he is definitely the eater of the two.
I am starting Calculas II on the first. This will be my final class for my degree. Thank goodness. We are planning another trip to Chattanooga in January. Time to start dropping off resumes and getting serious about looking at houses and neighborhoods. We are also going to a career fair in Atlanta. Hopefully, something will come out of that. If nothing else, it will be good practice with interviews.
I have also teamed up with one of the guys from my men's group to coach a first grade basketball team. Our first game is the 5th. It will be entertaining at least. I guess that is about the extent of what is going on. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
