TN Bound!!!

Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant will be my new place of employment. I mentioned heading to TN for an interview in my last blog, and it went amazing. I got a call within 2 days with a job offer. Now let's back up to how this all came about. I mentioned in my last blog that this was a job that I didn't think I was qualified for and didn't think there were any openings to begin with. This is how God works. Me and Kristina were talking about what we were willing to give up to move to TN if that was where God wanted us. We made plans to cancel cable, look into smaller homes, and see what else needed to be cancelled. We no more than made our minds up that we were going to have to do this than God through all of this at us. I don't say this to talk up our willingness to sacrifice, but to show how God will bless when you follow His plans. The job is so much better than I ever expected to get an offer for. GOD IS AWESOME!
As for the house, we are going to continue to have faith. We had no lookers at the open house. We are having another one this Sunday, so we are praying things go better. We are, however, making plans to head back to TN in 2 weeks to meet with a builder to make plans for our new home. This is my "going to die there" house. My plan is to never move again. I'm not a big fan of moving.
The family is doing amazing. Aaron is excited about a new house with a fire place and big fort in the trees. Pressure is on to build a fort worthy of his hopes. Luke is clueless about the move, but his personality is really coming through. He is rapidly becoming a little boy rather than a baby. Kristina is having fun shopping for the new house. She has been doing research on appliances and furniture. We have also been doing a lot of discussing what our plans for the house will be. Good news is, we plan to have a finished basement with a full bath, which means plenty of room for company that allows some privacy.
I think that catches you up to date on our life, so until next time, trust God no matter what. I am finally starting to get that.
