Baseball season is back!

It is that time of year again, and I am excited. Aaron has been asking to go out an play baseball on just about a daily basis. It is going to be interesting raising a couple of Cubs fans within two hours of Atlanta. I know we will be the minority when the Cubs and Braves play. At least I can brain wash my boys early, so we will at least have each other for support.

I am now down to 12 days before I check out of the Navy. I can't believe how quickly it has come. Our house is still on the market, and things aren't moving along any quicker. We are just going to keep trusting God's plan and roll with it. We will be fine for paying both mortgages for a couple of months if need be. Our house isn't going to be finished in Tennessee until August now, so we will be renting for about three months. Two kids and a dog in an apartment. Sounds like a great bonding time. We are still extremely excited about what is going on though. Several guys that I work with here, have been offered jobs in Tennesse, so we are excited about having more people out there that we know. It is amazing to see things coming together when God has a plan. I will be back on here with more updates as they happen.

One step closer to Tennessee!

Here is a look at our beautiful new house in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. OK, so it's not much now, but it is very roomy. This is the lot that we have agreed to build on. It is a different house on a different lot than we planned on before, but I think we have finally made our minds up. I am supposed to start my job on May 27th, and our house won't be ready until July, so we may have to do some serious camping for a couple of months. I have 19 days left until me and the Navy part ways. 32 days later, I start my new job. We still haven't sold our house here, but the market is starting to pick up. We have had some showings, so that is a start. We are just continuing to trust God's plan and see where he leads us.

The Net Church is starting to come together as well. It is scheduled to kick off on February 8th, 2009 at The Rave Theatre. We are so excited to see what God is going to do there. We had a meeting on February 29th and got to meet several of the launch team that we hadn't met yet. It was exciting to see so many people excited about a single cause....Sharing the love of Christ.
