The "Son" Room

Here is a look at the good looking crew that make up my men's bible study. From left to right we have Darin the Patient, Jim the Coach, me, and Shaun the SBD. We are pictured with the essentials to a good men's group. A devotional book, Bible, Mountain Dew and no women. We have been meeting for just over a month now in Jim's (Nike shirt) sun room, that has now been renamed the "Son" room. We picked this room, because of all the windows. We thought that would give us the best reception to the Son of God, hence, the "Son" Room. Things are going great with the group, and we are making each other smarter every week. Our self ascribed motto is "Men in search of Faith, Integrity, and Character," a.k.a. FIC.

We just returned from a trip to Virginia Beach to visit with Kristina's family for Thanksgiving. Lots of turkey, pies and football. It was great. We even met up with Bill and Allison, our amazing Bible study leaders from up there, and Dave and Kim, my old roommate and his wife. It was cool seeing what has changed and how everyone is doing.

Virginia Beach has really grown, but still no desire to live there. Our hearts are set on Chattanooga. We are planning another trip in late January to check out some more areas and start dropping off resumes. Then it's off to Atlanta for a career fair. Hopefully, I will be well on my way to a job by the time that weekend is over with. We have only had one showing for our house here, but all of our fliers have been taken from in front. Hopefully, it is people looking to buy and not people just taking them. We're not stressing it too much yet. We have time. Until next blog, adios.
